A special thanks to Reto Colling, Founder and Owner
Located in Murten, Switzerland, Neue Eintracht is a reimagining of a small-town bistro renovated with respect for its future and its history. With a focus on freshness and locality in cuisine, the restaurant was designed following the same principles. In this project, we reinstated the bar and overall layout to accommodate the variety of energy that passes through the space throughout the day. It is open as both a breakfast café and a cozy dinner spot, serving as a landing space for the last wine of the evening.
Bridging luxury with a casual tone, we used local Muschelkalk stone to clad the brushed stainless steel bar. A light powdering of eggshell blue evokes both historical character and freshness in the space. There is a balance and tension between old and new at all scales of the project, achieved through a mix of vintage and custom-designed furniture and millwork throughout.
